Selection Process: Selection is based on Shortlisting of candidates through Computer based written test and Merit List. The OSSSC Commission intends to regulate the method of recruitment to all Group-C Civil posts and Services under different district offices of Government of Odisha. The Commission endeavors to bring about uniformity in the method of examinations, question setting, evaluation and declaration of results with a view to provide quality manpower to work at the grass-root level of the administration.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern for OSSSC Nursing Officer Exam 20-21

  • The written test should be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • The Total Number of Question asked 100.
  • The Total marks is 100 marks.
  • Total time duration for Exam is 02 Hours.
  • Total 60 Questions on subjects as per syllabus of GNM/B.Sc Nursing course.
  • Total 25 Questions based on Practical Skill.
  • Total 10 Questions based on 10th standard arithmetic.
  • Total 05 Questions based on 10th standard English.
  • There will negative marking (0.25) for each wrong answer.
  • The Pattern of Exam will be MCQ on OMR Sheet.
