• Staff Nurse: Candidate should be a minimum Diploma in nursing (General Nursing Midwifery-GNM)/ B.Sc Nursing from an Institute Recognized, Government of Govt. of India & registered as GNM by State Nursing Council/ Indian Nursing Council. 
• CMP (Intensivist): Degree of MBBS/MD /Diploma (Anesthesia) from an institute recognized by the IMC with experience in handling ventilator and managing ICUs.
• CMP (GDMO Trained in ICU): Candidate should be a minimum MBBS pass degree from an institute recognized by the Indian Medical Council and with registration in Indian Medical Council, or with a valid registration certificate of any of the State Medical Councils of India after completion of one-year compulsory rotatory Internship or Higher qualification.
• Laboratory Assistant Gr-II: Diploma in Medical Lab Technology from any Govt. Medical colleges /Recognised AICTE approved private institutions after completing +2 Science certificate or equivalent.

First preference for such engagement will be given to Retired Railway Doctors followed by Retired Central Government /State Government and PSU Doctors.

Brief History of Eastern Railway Zone
