Qualification: Candidates must have pass 10+2 with Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a Govt recognized institution .
Age Limit: There age limit is mentioned in official notification are like.
- Nursing Supervisor: Maximum 63 Years
- Junior Staff Nurse: Maximum 45 Years

Selection Process for GMC Jammu Staff Nurse Vacancy 2021
- 80 Points weightage to B.Sc Nursing .
- 70 Points weightage to GNM Nursing
- 10 Points weightage to marks obtained in 12th examination.
- 10 Points weightage to marks obtained for Experience.
The selected candidate shall be allowed to join only on the production of Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K.
About GMC Jammu
Government Medical College, Jammu is headed by the Principal and Dean. The College Council comprises of all the Professors and Associated Professors. The Principal of Govt. Medical College is Chairman of the college council. Assistant Professors acting as HOD are Co-opted Members of the Council. Senior most Professors after the Principal is the Members Secretary. This Council serves as an advisory body to the Principal in all matters pertaining to the college. The council convenes a minimum of six sessions per year. The institution started with a total of nine hundred beds and with the inauguration of Medical College Hospital building in the year of 1993, it has now increased to 1700 beds including associated hospitals including Sir. Col. R.N.Chopra Nursing Home.
