NHM Karnataka Nursing Recruitment 2020 Details


  • Post Name: Mid-Level Health Care Provider (MLHP)

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidate should be a registered nurse with minimum B.Sc Nursing/post basic nursing qualification/ or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Karnataka State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
  • Nurse MLHP preferably be a resident of Karnataka.
  • Should have effective communication skills in both English and Kannada language.
  • Should have knowledge of basic computer.

Age Limit: 

  • 35 years in case of General category.
  • 40 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes and Category-I.
  • 38 years in case of candidates belonging to Category-II (a), II (b), III (a) and III (b) of other backward classes.

NHM Karnataka Nursing Exam Instructions

  1. Each question generally carry 1 marks (sixty questions for 60 marks) but skill based 20 questions will carry 2 marks for each question.
  2. The examination will be online in objective type for 90 minutes.
  3. The number of questions will be 80,and against which totally 100 marks will be allotted.
  4. If you finish the exam before the scheduled time, you can click "finish button" and submit the exam.
  5. You can skip the question which you do not know and navigate to next question or previous question.
  6. In the right panel, you can view all the attempted questions highlighted in green colour and those not attempted can be reached by that number or by navigating save / next button.
  7. The candidate has maximum 90 minutes of time to complete the exam .
  8. Candidates can approach support system for their grievances pertaining to exams, results and selection through support system. The questionnaire and answers are standardized with validation by committee; any specific grievance against each question will not be entertained.
  9. No break will be given during the exam.
  10. Evaluation of the exam will be done online.
  11. Do not give / obtain any help during the exam.
  12. Candidates found violating the instructions of the exam will be disqualified.
  13. For any issue / query, please seek help of exam invigilator.
  14. Results will be displayed online immediately after the selection examinations are over. Candidates can verify their total questions attempted & marks obtained sheets after final submission of answers list in online exams.
