SSB Staff Nurse Job Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying staff nurse job in SSB-Sashastra Seema Bal should have following qualification required.

• Candidates must passed 10+2 with Science from a recognized Board.
• Should be in possession of three years Diploma in General Nursing (GNM) from an Institution recognized by the Central Govt or State Govt.
• Must be registered with Central or State Nursing Council.
• Must have two years experience in a reputed Hospital.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be fall between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen are as per govt rules.
Application Fee: All female candidates are applied for SI(Staff nurse) post in SSB should not pay any amout as examination fee. They are totally exempted from paying any fee.

Physical standard for SSB SI (Staff nurse)

Female candidates applying for staff nurse posts in SSB should have a height of 157 cms. And candidates have to complete a distance of 1.6 Kms race in 08:30 minutes.

About Sashastra Seema Bal Organization
The Special Service Bureau (now Sashastra Seema Bal) was thus conceived in November 1962. SSB was started in North Assam, North Bengal, hill districts of Uttar Pradesh (now Uttarakhand), Himachal Pradesh, part of Punjab and Ladakh area of J&K. The area covered by SSB was distributed into 10 SSB Divisions; each headed by a Divisional Commissioner, 49 Areas headed by Area Organizers, 117 Sub Areas headed by Sub Area Organizers and 287 Circles headed by Circle Organizers.
