Eligibility Criteria NIE Staff Nurse Vacancy
Essential Qualification: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse with any state nursing council are eligible for staff nurse vacancy.
Desirable Qualification and Experience
a) Experience in data collection in field based health research surveys
b) Experience in clinical examination
c) Experience in collection of nasal and oro-pharyngeal swabs
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 years.(No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates)
Staff Nurse Duties & Responsibilities in ICMR-NIE
a) Collect baseline healthcare utilization
b) Collect baseline demographic information
c) Conduct regular surveillance of the study participants
d) Carry out clinical assessment of surveillance positive
e) Collection of oropharyngeal/ nasal swabs
f) Perform any other work assigned by the Director/PI/Co-PI/Superior officer

Eligibility Criteria NIE ANM Vacancy
Essential Qualification: 10th pass or equivalent with certificate course in Auxiliary Nurse midwife (ANM) from recognized institute.
Desirable Qualification for ANM
Working experience in a health facility data collection
Knowledge of computer applications
Can read, write and speak Tamil and English
Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife can be treated as 2 years experience
B.Sc. Degree (Nursing) shall be treated as 3 years experience
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 25 years. (No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates)
Nature of Duties of ANM
Involve in Field/Facility based data collection in shifts
