Educational Qualification for Staff Nurse
- The candidate should have acquired the Degree / Diploma in nursing from a Government recognized institutions.
- Registered Tamil Nadu nurses registered with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Mid-wife council on before the date of this notification viz., 10.07.2017.
- Passing the examination for Mid-wife conducted by the Institution approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and declared as a Registered Mid-wife.
- Must have minimum two years in a Government Hospital or a Hospital of repute as a Nurse.
- Must have passed Tamil in S.S.L.C. or equivalent examination.
- Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Age Limit: OC-30 years, BC / MBC and DNC-32 years, SC /SCA and ST-35 years
Salary: Rs.4800 – 10000 + G.P. Rs.1300

Educational Qualification for Nursing Assistant:
- Must have passed VIII Std. in a recognized school.
- Must have passed the nursing assistant training course examination conducted by the Government Medical College Hospital of Tamil Nadu or other Institution recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu
- Experience as Female / Male Nursing Assistant in a Government Hospital or in a Hospital of repute for a period of not less than one year.
Selection of nursing aspirants for TNAU will be made on the basis of written examination and Interview. In second stage short listed candidates will be called for certificate verification and interview. Final selection will be made subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
Scheme for Written Examination TNAU Nurse Job 2017
The question paper is totally objective type. A total mark is 200 and duration of exam is two and half an hour.
Examination Fees of TNAU Staff Nurse Job
The examination fee for SC/ST is 500/- and rest other category will pay 750/-. The candidates will make a demand draft in favour of The Comptroller, TNAU, and Coimbatore. Separate application with Demand Draft should be submitted for each post
